Surrender of certificate.—Every operator of a dam who ceases to carry on the operation of a dam in an emergency shall, within one day of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form E of the manner in which every hazard map held by him has been disposed of.
