Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the organiser of a public assembly shall apply to the Superintendent of Police in Form III for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Superintendent of Police shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
