Surrender of certificate.—Every mutawalli who ceases to carry on the management of a waqf shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Registrar in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form VI of the manner in which every register of deaths held by him has been disposed of.
