Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the mutawalli shall apply to the District Registrar in Form VI for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the District Registrar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
