Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any lessee of defence land dies, his legal representative shall, within twenty-one days of the death, intimate the death to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief in Form A, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register of contractors then held; and the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief shall enter the intimation in the register within seven days of its receipt.
