Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the salvor shall apply to the Port Authority in Form 7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Port Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
