Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any fit person dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the District Child Protection Unit in Form VII, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register then held; and the District Child Protection Unit shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
