Surrender of certificate.—Every e-return intermediary who ceases to carry on the electronic filing of returns shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Assessing Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 15G of the manner in which every challan held by him has been disposed of.
