Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the developer executing agreements for sale shall apply to the Sub-Registrar in Form F for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the Sub-Registrar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
