Application for registration.—Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application for registration to the Sub-Divisional Officer in Form 2, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every record of rights held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for forty-five days from that date.
