Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the conciliator shall apply to the Registrar of the Council in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees, and the Registrar of the Council shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
