Surrender of certificate.—Every bonded warehouse keeper who ceases to carry on the keeping of a bonded warehouse shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form E of the manner in which every transport pass held by him has been disposed of.
