Surrender of certificate.—Every generator of hazardous waste who ceases to carry on the generation of hazardous waste shall, within one hundred and twenty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Environmental Appellate Authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form VI of the manner in which every waste manifest held by him has been disposed of.
