Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of a standard mark licence shall apply to the Director of Legal Metrology in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Director of Legal Metrology shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
