Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any patentee dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the Registrar of Geographical Indications in Form 1, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every work then held; and the Registrar of Geographical Indications shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.
