Surrender of certificate.—Every public officer who ceases to carry on the receipt of instruments in evidence shall, within ninety days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Collector in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form F of the manner in which every adjudication held by him has been disposed of.
