Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a high-rise building shall apply to the Director of Fire Services in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Director of Fire Services shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
