Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a commercial establishment shall apply to the Chief Inspector in Form III for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Chief Inspector shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
