Clause 2, West Bengal Excise (Label Control) Order, 2024 [S8Q-0JE]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909 (West Bengal Act 5 of 1909); (b) "distiller" means a person carrying on the working of a distillery; (c) "excise seal" means a excise seal received, held or disposed of by a distiller in the course of the working of a distillery; (d) "Form G" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
