Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the landholder shall apply to the Estate Officer in Form 7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Estate Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
