Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a shop shall apply to the Chief Inspector of Factories in Form VII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Chief Inspector of Factories shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
