Application for registration.—Every keeper of a hotel lodging foreigners carrying on the lodging of foreigners shall make an application for registration to the Immigration Officer in Form X, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand five hundred rupees and a statement of every visa held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
