Conditions of registration.—Every keeper of a hotel lodging foreigners shall carry on the lodging of foreigners only at the premises specified in the certificate of registration, shall keep every register of foreigners in his possession in a safe and proper manner and separately from anything of a different description, shall produce every such register of foreigners for inspection on request by the Superintendent of Police, and shall not part with the certificate of registration to any other person.
