Safe custody.—Every importer of goods bearing a mark shall keep every register of patents to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the import of goods bearing a registered mark is carried on, shall record in Form TM-A the description of every register of patents so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the Registrar within one hundred and twenty days of the close of each year.
