Surrender of certificate.—Every lessee of defence land who ceases to carry on the holding of defence land on lease shall, within twenty-one days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form G of the manner in which every permit held by him has been disposed of.
