Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the registered supplier shall apply to the Controller General of Accounts in Form GFR 12-A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Controller General of Accounts shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
