Application for registration.—Every owner of a fishing vessel carrying on the operation of a fishing vessel shall make an application for registration to the Government of Karnataka in Form 4, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees and a statement of every crew list held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
