Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any owner of a fishing vessel dies, his legal representative shall, within seven days of the death, intimate the death to the Government of Karnataka in Form 4, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every ship recycling plan then held; and the Government of Karnataka shall enter the intimation in the register within twenty-one days of its receipt.
