Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the occupier shall apply to the Central Board in Form I for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Central Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
