Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the manufacturer of denatured spirit shall apply to the District Excise Officer in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the District Excise Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
