Application for registration.—Every manufacturer of denatured spirit carrying on the manufacture of denatured spirit shall make an application for registration to the District Excise Officer in Form A, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees and a statement of every label held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for twenty-one days from that date.
