Surrender of certificate.—Every landholder who ceases to carry on the holding of land shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the State Government in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 12 of the manner in which every certificate of occupancy held by him has been disposed of.
