Surrender of certificate.—Every foreign company who ceases to carry on the carrying on of business in India by a foreign company shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Serious Fraud Investigation Office in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form CHG-1 of the manner in which every minutes book held by him has been disposed of.
