Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the distiller shall apply to the District Excise Officer in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the District Excise Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
