Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the custodian of a Government building shall apply to the Director General of Archives in Form 5 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Director General of Archives shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
