Application for registration.—Every custodian of a Government building carrying on the maintenance of a Government building shall make an application for registration to the Director General of Archives in Form 8, within ninety days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees and a statement of every register of records held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for forty-five days from that date.
