Safe custody.—Every owner of a vehicle within a cantonment shall keep every lease deed to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the plying of a vehicle within a cantonment is carried on, shall record in Form F the description of every lease deed so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief within seven days of the close of each year.
