Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a ferry shall apply to the Government of West Bengal in Form 7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Government of West Bengal shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
