Application for registration.—Every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall make an application for registration to the Government of West Bengal in Form 5, within fourteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every cargo held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
