Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the administrator of an estate shall apply to the Family Court in Form VII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Family Court shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
