Surrender of certificate.—Every guarantee holder who ceases to carry on the holding of a Government guarantee shall, within ninety days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Controller General of Accounts in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form GFR 40 of the manner in which every account held by him has been disposed of.
