Application for registration.—Every guarantee holder carrying on the holding of a Government guarantee shall make an application for registration to the Controller General of Accounts in Form GFR 40, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees and a statement of every grant held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
