Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the declarant of assets shall apply to the Grievance Redressal Authority in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Grievance Redressal Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
