Application for registration.—Every point of sales person carrying on the sale of insurance products at a point of sale shall make an application for registration to the Insurance Information Bureau in Form IRDA-7, within twenty-one days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every certificate of insurance held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
