Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the direct seller shall apply to the District Commission in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the District Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
