Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the public authority shall apply to the State Information Commission in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the State Information Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
