Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the bank conducting Government business shall apply to the Public Accounts Committee in Form GFR 12-C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Public Accounts Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
