Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the financial institution shall apply to the Deposit Insurance Corporation in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Deposit Insurance Corporation shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
