Application for registration.—Every financial institution carrying on the business of a financial institution shall make an application for registration to the Deposit Insurance Corporation in Form F, within twenty-one days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees and a statement of every passbook held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
