Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of land adjoining a railway shall apply to the Railway Administration in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Railway Administration shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
